The Yellow Long Neck fig yields huge- almost tennis ball sized bright yellow fruit with a long neck.  100 grams is not unusual for this fig, with a maximum weight of 174 grams being reported by some.
 
Because of its thin skin and honey-sweet flavor, Yellow Long Neck is considered by  many connoisseurs to be among the best figs you will find. Breba crop ripens mid-season.  This cultivar does produce a breba, typically in the mid-season. It is a fairly late ripener but appears to be, by all accounts, a very cold-hardy tree.

The leaves of the tree itself tend to be broad-fingered with serrated edges.
