Discovered in Olympia, Washington, the Olympian  Fig  produces two crops of green and purple striped fruit with sweet, violet flesh that is excellent for fresh eating, canning or drying. 

 

Along with Desert King this fig is a great choice for cool summer areas. The fig regularly ripens a sizeable crop in August and often a fall crop in cool summer areas where others fail.
